Copper deposit hosted in sediments within the Zambian Copperbelt. The project is being developed through the company Kashime Copper Ltd. The asset is a joint venture between First Quantum Minerals (FQM), one of Africa’s main copper producers, and the local Zambian company Mimosa Resources, with the objective of accelerating the commissioning of the project and strengthening the role of a majority local operator in the medium term.
