It is an underground polymetallic operation focused on silver, with significant lead, zinc, and gold contents hosted in intermediate‑sulfidation epithermal and mesothermal veins developed within andesitic volcanic rocks. Since late 2021, the mine has been in production and is currently in a ramp‑up and expansion phase, with a processing capacity exceeding 600 t/d and announced plans to increase it to ~2,500 t/d, consolidating itself as one of the main active mining assets in Huancavelica.
